Game Opportunity Radar

Privacy Policy

Game Opportunity Radar is an internal operations dashboard for discovering game content opportunities from public and authorized data sources.

Data We Process

The service stores public game metadata, platform identifiers, source health records, sitemap URL observations, trend scores, generated opportunity records, job logs, alert delivery status, and reviewer notes entered by authorized operators.

API credentials, OAuth secrets, Discord webhook URLs, and administrator tokens are stored as platform secrets or local environment variables. They are not intentionally exposed in the dashboard UI, committed source code, or public static assets.

Public Sources

The system is designed around official APIs, RSS feeds, public sitemap data, and limited browser verification where API/RSS/sitemap signals are not enough. Collection should respect robots.txt, source terms, rate limits, and source-specific platform policies.

Personal Data

The MVP does not provide public consumer accounts and does not intentionally collect player-level private data. Community and social source integrations should store aggregate operational signals whenever possible instead of unnecessary personal content.

Retention And Access

Operational records are retained only as needed for source monitoring, scoring, review, and audit workflows. Access to non-public operations should be protected by the site operator, for example with Cloudflare Access or equivalent controls.

Third-Party Services

Game Opportunity Radar may connect to services such as Steam, IGDB/Twitch, YouTube, Roblox, itch.io, Reddit, Discord, Cloudflare, and GitHub. Those providers process data under their own policies and terms.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the data sources, alert destinations, or operator workflows change. Material changes should be reviewed against the actual production data flow before launch.
